About Me

A junior at Plano Senior High, Pratheek Anne has spent his life at the intersection of athletics, academic excellence, and creative expression. Growing up in the high-energy environment of Dallas sports, he developed a profound respect for the discipline and teamwork required to compete at the highest level—a perspective bolstered by his own success as a two-year All-Region Qualifier.

Pratheek’s approach to journalism goes beyond the final score. He specializes in ‘Franchise Trajectory’—analyzing the front-office decisions, draft strategies, and cultural shifts that define the Mavericks, Cowboys, Stars, and Rangers. He brings a unique, rhythmic storytelling style to his analysis, a skill honed as a certified practitioner of Carnatic Music. This background allows him to see the tempo and structure of a game differently, focusing on how a team’s identity resonates with its community.

His analytical precision isn’t limited to the press box; as an SAT Tutor, Pratheek excels at breaking down complex data and logic, a trait that makes his sports reporting both accessible and deeply insightful. As an aspiring entrepreneur, he is currently architecting a vision for a modern media platform—a community-driven hub designed to spark meaningful conversation and provide a sophisticated home for the next generation of sports storytelling.

My Music Journey

Immersed in this environment from childhood, he proactively pursued musical training on his own. Prateek began studying various styles from a young age, becoming a prominent feature in his school choir and performing as a lead singer in many programs. Concurrently, he also began training in Karnatak, the technical form of South Indian classical music, excelling in both disciplines. Throughout his school career, Prateek consistently performed on the varsity choir, earning regional honors and acclaim for solo performances in numerous concerts and showcase shows. In his Karnatak studies, Prateek is the senior-most student, having successfully completed three levels of technical examinations. He actively performs at temples, festivals, and competitions, winning prizes and recognition. Beyond classical music, Prateek also sings in the Indian Bollywood style, performing on stage and at private events, often with his mother. Known for his intuitive musical ability, he can quickly grasp melodies and harmonize without much guidance, driven by a deep passion for music and a commitment to developing his artistry.

    Cowboys vs Saints Preseason Recap
    by pratheekanne1 on August 30, 2026 at 11:39 pm

Before cut day surfaces today I wanted the chance of being able to recap the preseason game that took place on Friday. Jordan Hudson, talk about a guy that I will be sad to see go this cut day. Unfortunately for him we happen to be on the team with 6 receivers who have undoubtedly clinched a receiver spot for the Cowboys. But he was fantastic in the last preseason game, including 2 spectactular grabs on the same drive. Sam Howell and Joe Milton: I have no clue which one will get the spot as...

    Cowboys Training camp wrap up.
    by pratheekanne1 on August 21, 2026 at 11:39 pm

The time in Oxnard has come to an end with a very positive note. I for one can say for myself that the Cowboys have walked away knowing that they are in good hands for week 1( barring nothing ridiculous happens in the time since), let's dive into the Cowboys last training camp practice, won't cover the saints joint practice since most of you guys know about it. The standout player of this camp is George Pickens, but for me it would be Shavon Revel or Barnham. Both impressed on the defensive...

Cowboys Padded Practice Day 8 Recap
    by pratheekanne1 on August 18, 2026 at 12:42 am

Just because the Pre-season started doesn't mean your favorite series is done. The Cowboys wrapped up another day of padded practices and it brought upon a very offensive day(you'll see what I mean by that). The offense heard the talk about this improved defense and killed the defense today. Prescott threw it all over the plays and everybody got in on the action: Turpin, GP, Ferguson, CD Lamb. Couple of players like Mafah and Blue had limited reps due to soreness from the last game, which...

    by pratheekanne1 on August 17, 2026 at 2:22 am

The Cowboys brought a lot of positives and good things to take away after their first pre-season game. Let's dive into how the Cowboys fared in their first bit of action since January. Calen Carson, WHAT ARE YOU DOING MAN. For the love of god please change your insta name from walking seatbelt because if it was a car crash we'd all be dead. Sam Howell and Joe Milton were both equally impressive yesterday. More so on Milton because of what we saw last year I was impressed with his timing on...
