About Me
A junior at Plano Senior High, Pratheek Anne has spent his life at the intersection of athletics, academic excellence, and creative expression. Growing up in the high-energy environment of Dallas sports, he developed a profound respect for the discipline and teamwork required to compete at the highest level—a perspective bolstered by his own success as a two-year All-Region Qualifier.
Pratheek’s approach to journalism goes beyond the final score. He specializes in ‘Franchise Trajectory’—analyzing the front-office decisions, draft strategies, and cultural shifts that define the Mavericks, Cowboys, Stars, and Rangers. He brings a unique, rhythmic storytelling style to his analysis, a skill honed as a certified practitioner of Carnatic Music. This background allows him to see the tempo and structure of a game differently, focusing on how a team’s identity resonates with its community.
His analytical precision isn’t limited to the press box; as an SAT Tutor, Pratheek excels at breaking down complex data and logic, a trait that makes his sports reporting both accessible and deeply insightful. As an aspiring entrepreneur, he is currently architecting a vision for a modern media platform—a community-driven hub designed to spark meaningful conversation and provide a sophisticated home for the next generation of sports storytelling.
Dallas Sports Scene
Immersed in the Dallas sports environment from childhood, Pratheek proactively pursued sports journalism on his own. He began studying the dynamics of local franchises from a young age, becoming a prominent voice in his community and launching Dallas Sports Scene as a dedicated platform for high-level commentary. Concurrently, he also began specializing in “Franchise Trajectory,” the technical analysis of front-office strategy and roster construction, excelling in identifying long-term trends for the Cowboys, Mavericks, Stars, and Rangers. Throughout his student career, Pratheek has consistently produced in-depth reporting, earning a reputation for his calculated “big-picture” insights in numerous articles and media showcases.
In his journalistic studies, Pratheek is a lead contributor for his platform, having successfully integrated live Wix article feeds and advanced data tracking into his workflow. He actively engages with the DFW sports community through digital newsletters and social media, winning recognition for his ability to bridge the gap between casual fandom and professional analysis. Beyond traditional reporting, Pratheek also explores the intersection of sports and digital media, often collaborating on creative projects that showcase his versatility. Known for his intuitive analytical ability, he can quickly grasp complex game strategies and break down trade implications without much guidance, driven by a deep passion for the game and a commitment to developing his professional artistry.
My Music Journey
Immersed in this environment from childhood, he proactively pursued musical training on his own. Prateek began studying various styles from a young age, becoming a prominent feature in his school choir and performing as a lead singer in many programs. Concurrently, he also began training in Karnatak, the technical form of South Indian classical music, excelling in both disciplines. Throughout his school career, Prateek consistently performed on the varsity choir, earning regional honors and acclaim for solo performances in numerous concerts and showcase shows. In his Karnatak studies, Prateek is the senior-most student, having successfully completed three levels of technical examinations. He actively performs at temples, festivals, and competitions, winning prizes and recognition. Beyond classical music, Prateek also sings in the Indian Bollywood style, performing on stage and at private events, often with his mother. Known for his intuitive musical ability, he can quickly grasp melodies and harmonize without much guidance, driven by a deep passion for music and a commitment to developing his artistry.

The first day of Dallas Cowboy OTA's have concluded with some notable moments and highlights on both side of the ball. Here are some quick observations. Dallas focused a lot on redzone offense today, particular aiming to use the RBS in the pass game in order to deflect attention from Ceedee and Ferguson(Prescott's top 2 targets down there) George Pickens still absent today( not really a big surprise) but is supposed to make a debut during the Cowboys's summer minicamps. Prescott to no one's...

It has been a wild, unprecedented era of basketball in Dallas. After a brutal, injury-plagued season that saw the roster decimated by long-term injuries to Kyrie Irving and Dereck Lively II, the silver lining remains incredibly bright.
